After years of marketing to kids and adults alike, C.T. Candy is now officially available for sale in grocery stores.
The candy is a combination of corn syrup, brown sugar, and powdered sugar, which are all sweetened with cane sugar.
This new candy, which is priced at $1.99 per six-ounce can, is available in grocery outlets nationwide, according to C. T. Candy.
The company is not yet making the products available to the public, but it has announced plans to sell to grocery stores in the next few weeks.
While it’s a long way from the original C. B. Candy, the company is taking its sweet time in launching a product like this.
“While we are focused on growing C. Candy into a successful business, we’re still committed to creating the best and most nutritious candy available,” C.C. Candy president and CEO Peter DeBolt said in a statement.
C.T.’s Candy is made from brown sugar and powdered cane sugar, with a sweetener and flavour that is similar to that of traditional candy, according the company.
“The C. C. and I. T candy line was designed to give families of all ages and levels a variety of sweet treats, but we wanted to create something new, something fun, something sweet,” DeBolets statement reads.
“The result was C. Candies, a delicious and nutritious candy that is a great treat for the whole family.”
