NEW YORK – The world’s biggest maker of candies, makers of chocolates and flavoured toothpastes, is planning to introduce 100 new products to its retail stores in Canada starting next month.
Kanha Candies Canada, a subsidiary of British American Tobacco Co., said Tuesday that its 200th batch of Cherry Bomb chocolats will be launched in mid-May.
The company is also making two flavours of Cherry-bomb candies and a chocolate flavoured chew toy that will be available for purchase on its website and at a number of other retail locations.
Kananha said it is not making any decisions on whether or not to expand its distribution in Canada.
It said the new products will be sold under the brand name Kanha.
The new Cherry Bomb candy is made from the same ingredients as Cherry Bomb.
The flavour is chocolate with cinnamon and nutmeg.
The Cherry Bomb chocolate flavouring is a mix of cinnamon, black pepper, and cocoa powder.
